An app that starts with a useful version, after a frank scope assessment

We build business apps and suitable first versions, and we start every project with a dedicated scope assessment: does it really need an app, or would a website that works like one do? And what do the app stores require in accounts and reviews? The answer comes before any quote.

Who it is for

Who we build apps for

Anyone who needs an app in the hands of their customers or their team, or wants to test an idea with a first version before investing fully.

What we offer

Three kinds of work

Semi-custom by default, full development when needed, with the stores’ requirements observed from the start.

  • Business apps

An app for your customers or your team, on iOS and Android, connected to your systems through official APIs with clear permissions.

  • First versions (MVPs)

The smallest version that delivers the essential benefit and is launched for testing, with a scope defined in writing and a plan to grow if it succeeds.

  • Scope assessment

An assessment session that defines what your app really needs: platforms, stores, integrations, and the simpler alternative if there is one, before any quote.

How it is presented

Scope assessment first, then a version to start with

Apps differ from websites in one important way: there is a third party between you and the user. The app stores require developer accounts in your name and reviews whose timing we do not control. So every project starts with a dedicated scope assessment, and then we propose the better-suited path.

  • Scope assessment before the quote: platforms, stores, integrations, and the simpler alternative
  • Developer accounts in the stores are in your name, and we help you create them
  • We do not guarantee the timing of store reviews or third parties, and we plan for it
  • No blanket minimum: a viable first version for a smaller budget where possible
Pricing principles
  • Path one

    First version (MVP)

The essential functions only, launched for real testing with your customers or team, with a written scope and a plan to grow.

    • The agreed essential functions and no more
    • One or two platforms depending on your audience
    • Publishing in the stores under your accounts, with documentation
    • Usage measurement and a plan for the next step

A quote after the scope assessment

  • Path two

    Full business app

An app integrated with your systems, with roles, permissions and reports, delivered in documented stages after the scope is fixed.

    • Integrations with your systems through official APIs
    • Roles, permissions and an admin panel
    • Staged delivery with testing at every stage
    • A written quote with scope, cost and time before we start

A quote after the scope assessment

Every app project is estimated with a written quote after its scope is assessed; no fixed prices, no blanket minimum and no general timelines.

What the quote includes

What every app quote includes

A proposed list of what an app quote contains on either path; fixed in the contract with each quote, with the detailed scope defined in writing before we start.

DraftProposed draft awaiting the founder’s approval

  • A scope assessment session documenting the need, platforms, stores and integrations
  • App interface and experience design suited to each platform
  • The agreed functions built in documented stages
  • Functional, security and performance testing on real devices
  • Store listings prepared and published under your accounts, with documentation
  • Short training and documentation for use and administration
  • Handover of code, accounts and assets in your name with clear warranty limits

Not part of the quote

  • Fees for store developer accounts, services and hosting
  • The timing of store and third-party reviews (outside our control)
  • Content, photography and copywriting, unless agreed separately
  • Features added after the scope is fixed (estimated in an additional quote)
  • Support and updates after delivery, which are optional

Service questions

What people ask most

Do I really need an app, or would a website do?

That is the first thing we assess. If your use is frequent and needs notifications, the camera or offline work, an app fits better; otherwise a website that works like an app may serve you at lower cost and without the stores. We tell you before any quote.

iOS, Android or both?

It depends on your audience. Many first versions start on one platform and then expand. We build with technologies that serve both platforms when that is worthwhile.

What do the app stores require?

Developer accounts in your name with Apple and Google, with their fees, and a review of every release that may be accepted, rejected or delayed. We prepare the listings and handle the review, but its timing and decisions are the stores’, and we plan for that from the start.

What is a first version (MVP)?

The smallest version that delivers the essential benefit to your users, launched and measured before investing in the rest. Its scope is written, and what follows is a plan, not a promise.

Will the app integrate with my systems?

When your systems offer official APIs and suitable permissions, yes. We review that in the scope assessment and make clear before we start what can be connected and what cannot.

Do I own the app after delivery?

Yes, under the contract: the code, the store accounts and the assets are in your name, handed over with documentation and warranty limits.

And after launch?

Optional support under a monthly subscription of two kinds: technical, for updates, device compatibility and new platform releases, and operational, for content, users and reports, with a stated scope and no automatic renewal without your consent.
